Lauren Gawne is the originator of Superlinguo, a blog about language and linguistics, and co-hosts Lingthusiasm, a podcast that’s enthusiastic about linguistics, together with Gretchen McCulloch.
She's a David Myers Research Fellow at La Trobe University and an ELDP Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Linguistics at SOAS, with a PhD from the University of Melbourne. Her research focuses on evidentiality and gesture, with specialisation in Tibeto-Burman languages and internet English (because it’s fun ;-) ).
